TAG Heuer recently released a quartz version of its new F1 Senna Special Edition. A few months later, the Swiss luxury watchmaker presented a new version with a robust automatic movement and a more robust design. At the time, the Brazilian dominated Formula 1, becoming world champion in 1988, 1989, and 1991. TAG Heuer continues its quest to create the perfect Formula 1 copy watch that the legendary driver would love to wear on his wrist. The bold design of the TAG Heuer F1 Senna Special Edition and the nod to Ayrton's watch perfectly illustrate TAG Heuer's continued admiration for this exceptional driver and celebrate his lasting impact on the sport. For this new edition, TAG Heuer's designers and the Senna brand wanted to use red to reference Senna's original replica Rolex watch, which also features red accents on its dial. The overall look of the Senna Special Edition offers an elegant combination of red, anthracite, and black. This mix of colors is ideally in line with the design guidelines of the Senna brand's signature S. This contemporary reissue is also inspired by the first TAG Heuer chronograph worn by Ayrton Senna and its famous S/EL strap. The strap is highly shock-resistant, and its folding clasp with the driver's extension fits over the sleeve of a racing suit. Equipped with a Caliber 16 automatic movement, the replica TAG Heuer Formula 1 Senna Special Edition is protected by a stainless steel screw-down case back engraved with the iconic helmet of the Brazilian driver, alongside a unique engraving "SENNA SPECIAL EDITION."
